She graduated from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in 2003, where she also earned an MA degree in 2006. In 2009, she finished her PhD dissertation under the supervision of Professor Xie Tianzhen in Shanghai International Studies University and earned her PhD degree in Translation Studies. She has published several papers in Journal of Foreign Languages, Chinese Comparative Literature, China’s Translators Journal, East Journal of Translation, etc. such as “A Pioneer in Feminist Translation: Barbara Godard”, “Spivak as a Theorist of Translation”, “Translators’ Gender-consciousness and Their Translation Practice—A Case Study on the Four Chinese Translations of The Color Purple”, “Spivak as a Theorist of Translation” and “The Overall Design of MTI Thesis”. She is in charge of two ministerial and municipal level research projects, and takes part in two provincial and municipal level research projects.
